Hibiscus 'Airbrush Effect'

Brighten the midsummer and autumn garden and attract pollinators with the exotic, pretty, subtly pleated blossoms of Hibiscus 'Airbrush Effect.' The giant 8-8½" flowers of this North American native are true to the plant’s name, blending shades of pink, coral, and white in a manner that suggests the colors have been delicately sprayed onto individual petals. The flower’s dark red eye and the plant’s green foliage both add contrast. Hibiscus is a huge genus of more than 200 species. If you're the type who goes for minuscule flowers, then this is not a genus for you. The plants produce big bright flowers that appear endlessly starting in high summer. Give them moist, well-drained soil and plenty of heat and sun. Stems will die down to the ground over winter in colder climates.
