Adiantum pedatum is one of the most beautiful and elegant of our native Ferns. The 12–20" bright green, fingered fronds appear on shiny, blue-black stems. Maindenhair Fern is a lovely companion for Hostas and Pulmonaria. Thrives in bright light, but no direct sun, and in well-drained organic soil, where it spreads slowly by creeping rhizomes.
